This gallery shows images of the 1998 total solar eclipse that I took from Kadushi Cliffs in Westpunt, Curacao, N.A. on February 26, 1998. Except for "The Sky at Totality" below, all images were shot on Fuji Velvia (ASA 50), with an Olympus OM-1 at the prime focus of a Takahashi FS102 (f=820mm; d=102mm), mounted on a Takahashi EM-1S. Tracking was periodically adjusted through a side-mounted Unitron 60mm scope. Shots of the partial phases are through a Thousand Oaks II+ filter. All images were developed normally and then scanned with a Polaroid Sprintscan and processed in Photoshop. Further details of each image are listed next to the thumbnails, which are linked to larger images.
